面塑人偶

面塑是中国特有的一门民间艺术,起源于汉代,已有两千多年的历史.
面塑首先出现在以面食为主的北方.在北方农村名目繁多的大小节日和各种庆典、聚会时,聪明、勤快的妇女们都要用发酵的面团做出各种自己喜爱的样式,像石榴、荷花、蝙蝠、蝴蝶、龙、凤等，蒸熟以后再点染一些颜色,便成了一件件非常生动的艺术品，既可食用又可供观赏。
经过不断地流传，演化，独立的面塑艺术从食品中分离出来，自成体系，面团不再经过发酵，并采取了初期的防腐防裂的措施，颜色也不再是点染，而是揉进面团里。这时的面塑，观赏性更强了。
面塑受文人艺术的影响，风格有了很大的变化，并由街头制作的民间玩具，发展为案头陈设的艺术品。
经过特别配制和调理的面团，可以成为一种质地良好的雕塑材料，具有特殊的表现力，能够得心应手地塑造出许多质感逼真的艺术效果。
这是一门值得推广和发展的古老技艺，经过面塑艺人一代又一代的努力，目前面塑已达到很高的艺术境界，从事面塑创作的人也多起来。
Dough figurine sculpture is a unique art originated as early as in Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2000 years.
This folk art began in North China where people have wheat flour as staple food.There used to be variety of festivals in villages and gatherings when clever and hardworking women make flowers or objects they like such as pomegranate,lotus flower,bats,butterflies,Chinese dragon,and phoenix,with fermented dough and then have them steamed.Often after these steamed food are ready,they put some colors.Such steamed buns look vividly and just like some art works.
Handed down generation by generation,this folk art got separated from food production and became an art that has its own system.Fermented dough was no longer used.Instead,primary antisepsis was applied.Besides,color is mixed into the dough,which replaced the old painting skill.Thus dough figurine sculptures look much more attractive to the view.
In the contemporary time ,this art has been strongly influenced by literature and other plastic arts so that great changes took place in its style.That means the dough sculptures began to be displayed side by side with other artwork in the sitting rooms.It is no more just rustic folk toys in the street.
